On November 2001, Konami released what would become one of the best games in it's category: Metal Gear Solid 2. Fans
of the original Metal Gear Solid stormed into the stores to get their copy. As soon as they got home, they opened the DVD
box and inserted the disc in the PS2. As most of them already knew the basics of tactical espionnage, they finished the Tanker
part in a matter of hours.
After that, they learned that they xould not be playing with Solid Snake but an all-new character: Raiden. Some were
angry that Hideo Kojima deceived them (all sreens showed snake), others happy of some change in a series nearly 20 years
old.
Now, almost a year after it's original release, Metal Gear Solid 2 is available for the XBOX and soon for PS2. In ths
new version called Substance, players can play as Snake the Plant chapter as well as 5 other missions.
